Michael Noreika

Senior Project Manager

Michael Noreika brings extensive experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of demand-side management programs to NMR. With tenure as both a program implementer and evaluator, Michael has led research for a range of programs across the commercial, industrial, and residential sectors including new construction, retrofit, behavioral, and income qualified. Prior to joining NMR, Michael led impact and process evaluations, measure characterization, program and portfolio planning, and end-use load forecasting for Puget Sound Energy. He also represented the utility on regional working groups for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. Michael is a member of the International Energy Program Evaluation Conference Planning Committee and has led impact evaluation trainings for various audiences.

Michael holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Engineering from Swarthmore College. When he is not in the office, he enjoys mountain running, Nordic skiing, and otherwise getting lost in the woods with his family.
