Kiersten von Trapp

Principal

Kiersten is a seasoned project manager and analyst with extensive experience leading impact and process evaluations for residential and C&I energy-efficiency programs. She currently serves as Principal-in-Charge for all NMR-led studies in Connecticut. She has widespread experience leading evaluations of appliance, code compliance, weatherization, and heat pump programs, as well as conducting both residential and commercial NEI studies. For the first decade of her career in evaluation, Kiersten focused on the lighting market, leading a multi-year on-site data collection effort to support the impact evaluation and NTG assessment of upstream lighting program for both participants and non-participants and leading several multi-year residential on-site lighting studies for a number of clients.

Kiersten holds a B.A. in Government and International Relations from Wesleyan University and an M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University. In her spare time, Kiersten is happiest at the beach, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and spending time with her wife and sons and their two French Bulldogs, Bella and Pancakes.
