Christine Smaglia
Project ManagerChristine Smaglia has over ten years of experience evaluating energy-efficiency programs and supporting program design and improvement across the residential, commercial, industrial, and low-income sectors. Since joining NMR in 2017, she has led and contributed to process evaluations, net-to-gross analyses, non-energy impact studies, and market characterization research for a wide range of energy-efficiency initiatives. Her work has focused on customer decision-making, program participation and satisfaction, incentive effectiveness, market transformation, electrification, heat pump adoption, weatherization, and the assessment of non-energy impacts. Christine manages research projects from study design through reporting, working with diverse market actors and combining quantitative and qualitative research to understand program performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Christine holds an M.P.H. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and an M.S. in Food Policy and Economics from Tufts University. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, trying new foods, and spending time outdoors with her family.
