Pennsylvania Stakeholders Hear Findings from NMR and Associates on Two Studies for Act 129

On January 29, Director Greg Clendenning traveled to Harrisburg, PA, to attend the Pennsylvania Utilities Commission Act 129 stakeholders meeting to present the findings of the Demand Response Market Potential Study, led by DSA, and the Energy Efficiency Market Potential Study, led by NV5 and Brightline Group. The findings can be viewed here.

The two studies are critical parts of the PUC’s planning for a potential Phase V of the Act 129 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program. At the PUC’s February 20, 2025 Public Meeting, the Commission adopted for comment the Phase V Tentative Implementation Order. The Tentative Order includes proposed energy and peak demand savings goals that were developed from results of the two studies.
