NMR Welcomes Beth Delahaij
NMR is pleased to announce the addition of Beth Delahaij, who comes to us from National Grid. Read what Beth has to say about joining the team and to learn more about her past work and future plans.
Can you share a bit of your background, your areas of expertise, and why you joined NMR?
I spent 15 years at National Grid, where I started out as an evaluation and policy analyst for New York programs. I moved on to work as an evaluator for Massachusetts, then became manager of EM&V for Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island.
My experience encompasses program types including multifamily, income eligible, C&I retrofit, and behavioral smart grid offerings, and methods such as process and market evaluation, impact evaluation, non-energy impacts, and embedded evaluation. I’m also interested in market effects, equity, and the intersection of state policy and evaluation.
I have long admired NMR’s commitment to high-quality work and its values-centered approach. I’m honored to join such a talented team.
What work are you most excited to pursue at NMR?
This is an exciting time to work in demand-side management. As federal, state, and local policies go through major shifts to drive climate solutions, program offerings are rapidly evolving. Evaluation plays a key role in shaping these changes and I’m excited to be a part of that.
