NMR is currently seeking candidates for a Project Manager position. We are a consulting firm specializing in evaluation of energy-efficiency and renewable energy programs.

NMR seeks to hire an individual possessing the knowledge, skills, and abilities typically gained through doctoral-level graduate education in policy, economics, sociology, or other social science programs and four to five years prior work experience, or possibly a master’s degree plus six to eight years of relevant work experience. These qualifications include some or all of the following:

  • Designing and implementing surveys, and analyzing survey and other data
  • Conducting semi-structured interviews
  • Producing descriptive statistics and performing tests of statistical significance
  • Designing statistical samples
  • Writing clear and concise research summaries, memoranda, and reports
  • Managing research projects, from initial design through final reporting
  • Working independently and meeting tight deadlines

The ideal candidate will also be experienced in multivariate statistical approaches (e.g., regression analysis), although in class training will also be considered. Candidates should be comfortable using SPSS, R, or Stata for data analysis as well as using Microsoft Office products for developing reports and presentations and maintaining datasets.

We prefer candidates with experience addressing energy-related concerns, and also candidates who understand the principles and practices of program evaluation.
