Tom Mauldin

Tom Mauldin has 14 years of experience in program evaluation and market research in support of energy efficiency programs. He has designed and managed process evaluations, impact evaluations, and market assessments across a wide variety of programs, including residential lighting, appliances, new construction, and energy audits as well as commercial motors, HVAC, and new construction. These studies have included in-depth interviews, telephone surveys, and onsite data collection conducted with an array of audiences, including manufacturers, retailers, architects, engineers, contractors, businesses, residential customers, and program staff. Recently, Tom managed a baseline study of the residential new construction and existing homes markets in Vermont. He has also led the evaluation of the residential lighting and residential new construction programs for Consumers Energy. In Massachusetts, he leads NMR’s contributions to the evaluation of commercial & industrial programs. He holds an MS in Ecology & Environmental Sciences from the University of Maine and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. Tom lives in Maine, where he enjoys the ocean and mountains with his family.
