Zack Tyler is a certified HERS rater with extensive experience managing Residential New Construction and code compliance evaluations. He has managed baseline studies in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Vermont. In addition, he has led innovative studies to assess the potential savings associated with code compliance enhancement efforts. As a HERS rater, Zack has a long history of leveraging energy modeling results to inform energy-efficiency evaluations and also has worked with market actors involved in the residential new construction and retrofit markets. Over the years, Mr. Tyler has worked on a wide range of process, impact, and market effects evaluations for a range of energy-efficiency programs, including lighting, appliance, and retrofit programs.
Mr. Tyler has been with NMR since 2009. He holds an M.A. in Energy & Environmental Analysis from Boston University and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
