Rohit Vaidya
Vice President
Rohit has performed evaluation and market research for the energy industry for more than 20 years. He has served as part of a General Evaluation Assistance Contractor team for NYSERDA, working with evaluation staff to oversee the activities of process evaluation contractors for the full range of NYSERDA programs including Commercial/Industrial, Residential, Low-Income, and Research and Development programs. For Nova Scotia Power, he is managing a multi-year process and impact evaluation of its entire portfolio of energy efficiency programs. For the Consortium for Energy Efficiency, he assisted in the development of a five-year strategic plan by providing an understanding of the perspectives of members and opinion leaders in the national energy community on the role of conservation in the energy industry. He also has conducted numerous studies for FPL, including a major trade ally research study that identified ways to cost-effectively leverage trade allies to promote all the utility’s existing and proposed commercial and residential conservation programs. Mr. Vaidya received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Mathematics from the University of Delhi, India; and conducted graduate studies in Sociology at Columbia University, New York.
When he’s not busy on energy efficiency and conservation programs, Mr. Vaidya expends his energy in helping his wife raise their two teenage daughters.
