NMR is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Noreika

Michael comes to us with a background steeped in utility DSM programs and energy use in
the built environment. Most recently, at Puget Sound Energy, his responsibilities as a senior
analyst spanned a range of demand-side management and system load forecasting roles. As
a program evaluator for PSE, Michael led impact and process evaluations for commercial,
industrial, and residential programs; portfolio and program design; and measure
characterization research. Additionally, he managed a multiyear research project for the Load
Forecasting group to develop an end-use library to inform system load forecast models,
integrated resource planning, and carbon mitigation research.

Prior to joining PSE, Michael was a consultant for Navigant (now Guidehouse), where he
managed impact and process evaluations of DSM programs. Michael started in the industry
nearly 15 years ago as a project engineer for a DSM implementation firm in California, where
he led comprehensive energy audits and analyses for commercial facilities.

Michael holds an M.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington and a B.S. in
Engineering from Swarthmore College. Since 2018, Michael has been a member of the
International Energy Program Evaluation Conference planning committee.
