Lisa Wilson-Wright, PhD
Senior Project Manager
Lisa joined NMR in 2003 and brought with her extensive experience in the use of quantitative and qualitative research techniques to help inform energy efficiency and environmental policy. This includes designing and conducting surveys, in-depth interviewing, and program analyses. Her research efforts include developing statistical models to explain market penetration of ENERGY STAR appliances, assessing energy-audit programs, and evaluating low-income weatherization programs. For her post-doctoral research, she facilitated collaborative environmental monitoring and evaluation programs in partnership with the U.S. National Forest Service. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Lisa’s dissertation research examined the “resource roller coaster,” documenting the ways in which the cycle of booms and busts in the mining industry affected the long-term socioeconomic well being of dependent communities over time. Lisa enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with her husband John and son.
